Progress on goal 1...
So to achieve this goal, I need to start out small! I am literally THE WORST in the world at drawing, I draw like a left handed chimpanzee that's had a stroke! So I googled fashion design sketches, saved heaps to my ipad and picked one that looked somewhat simple to copy! I tried some with paper and a pencil and then used the Paper53 app on my ipad (because I am in love with it!!) I used my chubby little fingers on the ipad but I think I am off to a strong start! I am going to get a stylus this week and see if it helps!
Progress on goal 2...

So this time I camply entered the kitchen, made sure I had lots of flour and used a rolling pin rather than a wine bottle!!! It turns out fettucine is WAY easier than ravioli, and it turned out really yummy, with no broken kitchen equipment or scared flatmates! I then just made a creamy mushroom and bacon sauce, which is easy to make and much nicer than a bought one!
YEAHAAAAAAAAA!
Goal 2: To cook more adventurously... A yummy salad I've been making a lot lately! I use:

spinach and cos lettuce
cherry tomatoes
cucumber
gherkin
olives
red onion
red pepper
feta cheese
and to top it off Crispy noodles and balsamic dressing YUM!
I have been making it pretty much every night, on the side of all kinds of meals!
This years goals...
Three of my major goals for this year are:
1. Learn how to draw for fashion design
2. Cook more adventurously
3. Get back to the weight I should be (approx 10kgs lighter)
I am going to use my blog to not only update fashion, design, theatre etc that I love but also to document my progree in these 3 goals!
WOOP WOOP!
Good luck me!

Find some rope.
Anyway, I found it and thought what can I use this for...? Now I use it for EVERYTHING!
I tie it in a bow round my neck, I use it as a belt, a headband, wrap it round my wrist...the options are endless!
I have it in cream/white and also grey, and I seriously LOVE it!
You can get it from places like spotlight, or any sewing store I'm pretty sure!

make a turban headband.

I made my own velvet turban headband! And, it was actually really easy!
Essentially I just made two tubes, one big and one small, then I turned them inside out, wrapped the small one around the big one and voila!
I actually hand stitched it too, so you don't even have to get out a sewing machine!
Go on, make a turban headband!

do the headband turban.
I am obsessed with asos.com, and it's free shipping to New Zealand! Woohoooo! You can also go on and make outfit and looks pages, and of course shop! A dangerously good website!
Tomorrow I am going to attempt to make my own headband turban, hopefully out of velvet...
